solved for now...

the "Follow" gadget only seems to work at this time on the right side of my blog... and only when I went through a specific order of steps did I, through trial and error for quite some time figured out. You add the Follow gadget, wait 'til it says that it's been added which automatically saves it, but it doesn't work properly until you manually save it, but if you click the very top "view blog" button than it didn't work either. It only worked once I re-added it, placed it on the right side of my blog, manually saved it, and clicked the smaller "view blog" tab right underneath and to the right of the bigger "view blog" button... holy crimony, dang computers... all that was left after that to finish adding the gadget was hopping around on one leg while juggling puppies for ten minutes! it better stay working for cryin' out loud.
